Come visit the Octoraro Watershed Association May 2, at Oxford's First Friday!

Find us at the intersection of 3rd & Locust Streets — left-hand side of Locust.

We’ll be there from 5:00–8:00 PM!

Check out our touch tank filled with real macroinvertebrates and other creek critters collected from Octoraro Creek! Kids (and kids at heart) are encouraged to look, touch, and explore the amazing life that lives right in our watershed. Plus, we’ll have fun crafts for visitors too!

What better way to honor Mother Earth than by participating in a buffer maintenance on Mother’s Day!  On May 11, 2025, we will meet from 1-3 at 778 Bartville Road, Christiana, PA 17509. The Bell’s Run buffer is across the street at John Stoltzfus’s.  We will assess tree survival and replace where needed, replace stakes that are broken and pick up trash.  Wear proper footwear and bring water.  Gloves, hammer and or shovels are helpful.  Delicious snacks will follow.
